Where it began...
Paragraph.
We started our relationship as a long distance one. He was living in NY and I was in Miami. We saw each other between states until I found out we were expecting! Big surprise!
We decided to start our new life together in Florida. We did not want to be one of those couples that got married before the baby just because so we held back on wedding plans and focused on our new bundle of joy, Caleb!

The Proposal
Ryan is not very good at keeping secrets and I knew he was up to something. Well, I'm not very good at having surprises kept from me so I was searching the house frantically for the ring I KNEW he had bought! lol
One night, after getting home from a long day of work, he and our 2 yr old son make their way upstairs while I was unwinding from a long day of work. A few minutes later I hear the familiar calls of "mommy, come here" from upstairs. I let them know I will be there soon as I was still finishing my dinner. A few minutes later, Ryan begins to call for me and I have to admit, I kind of lost my patience. What part of I'm eating do they not understand! lol (I had just come home from almost an 11 hour shift at work and was not in the mood!) I finally make my way upstairs to Caleb's room and discover he is wearing a shirt that reads "Mommy, will you marry my daddy" I honestly thought it was a joke (Ryan thinks he's a comedian) and I begin to tell him this until he gets down on one and takes out a box. I can't remember what he said because I was freaking out, as our son took it upon himself to take out the ring and put it on my finger himself! It was perfect!
